Provided your judgment is over £600 and does not
relate to a Consumer Credit Agreement, you can use Sherforce
to enforce the court’s judgment.
To start off the process all you have to do is complete
our online Instruction Form, and either:
 |
Pay the court’s fee online of £50.00
with your credit or debit card |
| |
|
 |
Print off the form and send it to us with a cheque
for the court fee of £50.00 made payable to
“SLC” |
Sherforce will instruct its legal team, The Sheriffs
Lodgment Centre®, to transfer the judgment to the
High Court. This takes between 4 – 21 days depending
on the length of time taken by the county court to complete
the paperwork in its part of the process.
Once transferred, a local Sherforce Enforcement Officer,
acting on the direct authority of an Authorised High Court
Enforcement Officer, will attend at the debtor’s
address. Sherforce aims to complete this within 5 days
of the Writ being issued in the High Court.
As a Sherforce client, you will be assigned a Client
Relationship Manager, who will look after any Writ you
place with Sherforce for enforcement. You will also be
given a unique login and password to the SHERPA
system so you can keep track on the progress of your Writ
in your own time and without having to chase Sherforce
for updates.
To begin the transfer process click the GO button below
and you will be taken to our easy online instruction form.
And don’t forget to call us if you need more help.
