How Much Will It Cost for Sherforce To Execute The Writ?
If execution is successful the Sherforce's fees will be recovered from the debtor. If it is not possible to execute your Writ you will have to pay the Sherforce a fixed fee of £60 plus VAT which is currently a total of £69. If the debtor has to pay Sherforce's fees then the fees payable for executing a Writ of FiFa are set out in the Regulations for High Court Enforcement Officers published in 2004. This is a list of charges, approved by Parliament, to reflect the amount of work the High Court Enforcement Officer has to do. The Sherforce Client Services Team can give you more details on this. There are different fees for the different actions the High Court Enforcement Officer may have to take. For example, in some cases, goods will have to be removed for sale, but in others this will not be necessary. The total cost will, therefore, vary from case to case.
