One of the advantages of transferring your county court judgment to the High Court is that interest begins to run at statutory rate under the judgments Act 1838 (currently 8 percent per annum) from the date that the county court seals the Certificate of judgment allowing the transfer of your judgment to be made.
All High Court judgments attract interest from the date of judgment to the date of payment.
As part of our transfer service we will deal with the issue of interest for you and ensure this is properly calculated through to the date of payment within Sherforce itself.
