Any CCJ over £600 can be transferred to Sherforce for enforcement provided it has
not been obtained under a Consumer Credit Act Agreement (for an alternative service
if this applies to you go www.sherforceplus.net).
To be able to use Sherforce services the CCJ will need to be converted into a High
Court Writ and we offer a full service to Judgment Creditors to carry out the transfer.
Some Judgment Creditors use this in its entirety as it is free and our staff are
the leading providers of this service in England and Wales.
That said, some Judgment Creditors like to obtain the Certificate of Judgment from
the County Court and send this to us so that we issue the High Court Writ on their
behalf. That’s fine – there is no charge for this service either.
And of course some Judgment Creditors issue their own Writs of Fieri Facias (Fi
Fa) and don’t need our transfer services and naturally we will accept any Writ which
is addressed to one of the Sherforce Authorised High Court Enforcement Officers.
These Officers are:
Claire Louise Sandbrook
David James Bennett Asker
Christopher Badger
If you do not know who to name in the Writ please call our Client Services Team
on 0845 890 9204. Alternatively you can email Sherforce at
enquiries@sherforce.net and ask one of the team to contact you and they
will be pleased to talk through the various options.
